Marianne Mandrusiak

Marianne Mandrusiak is a writer and stand-up comedian in Montreal, Quebec. She performs all over Canada, has been featured in the Just for Laughs Festival, and her writing has been longlisted for the CBC Nonfiction Prize. Marianne is a weekend regular at the Comedy Nest. When she isn’t on stage, she can be found. Probably. She’s not hiding.

Oren Shbiro

Oren Shbiro is a good jewish boy and a stand-up comedian based in Montreal. He performs regularly at The Comedy Nest and MTL Comedy Club and has built a reputation for sharp, observational stand-up with a nervous jewish twist. Credits He has appeared four times at the Just For Laughs Festival, including The Discovery Series presented by Zoofest and JFL Originals. His comedy has been featured on Sirius XM and he's recently opened for comedians Sugar Sammy and Robbie Hoffman

Rodney Ramsey

Rodney Ramsey is an actor, comedian, and producer who approaches his career with the mindset of a mad scientist, using the stage as his laboratory. He has appeared on Kevin Hart's LOL channel, BBC's Summer Comedy event, and starred in projects like "The Division," "Race," and Apple TV's "The Big Cigar." Rodney's unique and experimental approach to comedy has made him a versatile performer across various platforms. In 2012, Rodney co-founded The Underground Comedy Railroad Tour, the first-ever all-Black comedy tour in Canada. This initiative was created to spotlight Black Canadian comedians and share their uniquely Canadian perspectives on race and everyday life with new audiences. Rodney's innovative spirit also extends into virtual reality with The Unknown Theater, which is redefining XR comedy by blending immersive technologies with stand-up, sketch, and improv, further establishing him as a trailblazer in the entertainment industry.

Wassim El-Mounzer

Born in Beirut, raised in Montreal, Wassim started comedy like most stand-ups - while teaching English in Bundang, South Korea. Shortly after moving back to his adopted home city to pursue standup, Wassim was named by the Montreal Gazette as one of the artists to watch in 2018. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival three times and has been featured on the BBC Arts Hour and CBC LOL. In 2022 he was a part of the Canadian New Faces of Comedy at Just For Laughs. His debut album 'You can English' will soon be available on streaming platforms.
