David Pryde is a Montreal comic whose humor is often called "cerebral", a word which he hasn't looked up but assumes means "hilarious". He has performed comedy in the USA, the U.K. and Australia, as well as in festivals across Canada including the Halifax Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and multiple appearances at Just for Laughs, most recently at this past summer's gala hosted by Jay Baruchel. He also enjoyed 14 seconds of fame telling a joke on the "Pass the Mic" segment of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He recently received his third Canadian Comedy Award nominations, adding up to two for Best Male Stand-up and one for Best Newcomer (not in that order). David is a versatile writer, having contributed to (and gotten paid by) This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Onion, and the Just for Laughs XXX Ultimate Nasty Show where he wrote jokes for Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. He's appeared in the film Barney's Version with Paul Giamatti and regularly performs on CBC Radio's hit comedy series, The Debaters. There is also a 37% chance you've seen him as a probability-spouting actuary on a series of successful commercials for Standard Life.
Paul Baluyot is a Montreal Based Stand-Up Comedian, his Charming, Clever and Laid back style have allowed him to work on many stages, from Comedy Clubs, to Theaters and Corporate Events. He has toured throughout Canada, the United States, and the Philippines.Paul's Professional Career began in 2011 when he won BOOM (Best Of Open Mic) at The Montreal ComedyWorks. He then was featured in the Montreal Fringe Festival, Montreal Sketchfest, and Ottawa’s Cracking Up the Capital Comedy Festival. In 2017, he was invited to do The "Best Of Montreal" Show in the Zoofest as part of the Off-JFL. He also had the privilege Of doing several Just For Laughs shows on their outdoor stage, most notably one show where they gave out free pizza during his set.
Eva Alexopoulos is a comedian, producer, content creator, and the founder of The Kickback Comedy Party, one of Canada’s fastest-growing independent comedy brands.
Known for her sharp storytelling, relatable humor, and larger-than-life personality, Eva has built a loyal audience by sharing both the highlights and the messy middle of life. From her weight-loss and weight-gain journey, to building her own comedy brand from the ground up, navigating heartbreak, finding love again, and raising her Dalmatian Leia, her followers have been along for the ride every step of the way.
A three-time Just For Laughs performer, Eva has appeared on CBC Gem’s New Wave of Stand-Up and has performed for thousands across Canada. Beyond the stage, she has produced and hosted hundreds of live events through The Kickback Comedy Party, creating unforgettable experiences that blend comedy, music, and community.
Rodney Ramsey
Rodney Ramsey is an actor, comedian, and producer who approaches his career with the mindset of a mad scientist, using the stage as his laboratory. He has appeared on Kevin Hart's LOL channel, BBC's Summer Comedy event, and starred in projects like "The Division," "Race," and Apple TV's "The Big Cigar." Rodney's unique and experimental approach to comedy has made him a versatile performer across various platforms. In 2012, Rodney co-founded The Underground Comedy Railroad Tour, the first-ever all-Black comedy tour in Canada. This initiative was created to spotlight Black Canadian comedians and share their uniquely Canadian perspectives on race and everyday life with new audiences. Rodney's innovative spirit also extends into virtual reality with The Unknown Theater, which is redefining XR comedy by blending immersive technologies with stand-up, sketch, and improv, further establishing him as a trailblazer in the entertainment industry.
