Bad Words For Street Team SJ
New Year, New Shows.
Kick off 2026 with the first Bad Words For a Good Cause stand up comedy fundraiser of the year. It also happens to fall near my birthday, so I brought in some of my favourite comics to help us laugh, celebrate, and support the incredible work of Street Team SJ.
Homelessness has become more visible throughout our region as rents, food costs, and the gap between incomes and living expenses keep widening. Street Team SJ responds directly by visiting encampments in Saint John and Sussex, offering food, essential supplies, and a consistent, supportive presence. Their work builds trust, connection, and dignity for people facing real challenges.
Our headliner Michelle Lynn Petite is a well known name in New Brunswick and she gains fans every show she performs.
Your Host Josh Kotsabasakis is white hot on New Brunswicks amateur comedy scene. He is not only a comedian but a local wrestling announcer as well. He has opened for legends like Tom Green and James Mullinger.
Guest: Shane Ogden - The godfather of New Brunswick comedy. He has been tearing up stages for over two decades.
Guest: Martin Bowmaster - After a comedy hiatus Martin is picking up where he left off.
They'll be joined by more great performers for a packed night of comedy and community.
