SUSSEX… we’re bringing a huge night of comedy to The Mule. 🎤
Bad Words For A Good Cause is kicking off the biggest charity comedy Series we’ve ever attempted ( 3 nights, 3 venues, 3 line ups, 3 charities, 1 MAJOR HEADLINER) , and Sussex is where it all starts.
What began in November 2023 as three small pay-what-you-can shows has grown into something pretty…pretty good. With March 21st sold out show show included 😉, Bad Words has now raised over $6,000 for people and charities across New Brunswick and PEI.
Now we’re bringing a stacked lineup to Sussex in support of the incredible Sussex Sharing Club, an organization that helps local residents when they need it most.
Host / Producer – Cive Lucas
His take on parenting somehow ends with him hearing the one word no parent ever wants to hear from their child. Honest, self-deprecating, and an okdad.
Feature – David Myles Holland Hall
His nervous energy and stammering delivery pull audiences right in, and once he gets going the laughs keep coming.
Guest – Jeff Pinnell
New Brunswicks dark prince of wordplay. His material can get wild, but his writing and heart always come through.
Feature – David Haddad
A veteran performer who sharpened his skills at the legendary Original Yuk Yuk’s in Ottawa. Now a big part of the NB comedy scene and making his Bad Words debut.
HEADLINER
Michael Harrison is an award winning stand-up comedian who tours internationally and has built a serious reputation on stages and screens.

Michael has also appeared in TV series including NBC’s The Bridge and Queer As Folk, and his hit improv podcast Character Debates has won multiple comedy festival awards.

$20 if you grab yours by September 23rd
For every ticket sold Bad Words will donate $5 to the Sussex Sharing Club.
