This 4-week beginner class is designed to take you from zero to stage-ready. You’ll learn how to write jokes, shape ideas into punchlines, and perform with confidence — all in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
You’ll be guided by Elyott Ryan, a professional comedian with over a decade of experience performing across Canada and Europe. He’ll walk you through the exact process working comics use to generate material, refine it, and make it land.
By the end of the course, you’ll perform in a live showcase for friends and family — with a real set built by you.
What you’ll learn:
- How to generate joke ideas quickly
- Basic joke structure and punchlines
- Editing and tightening material
- Stage presence and delivery
- How to handle your first live set
