Big Daddy Tazz transforms everyday moments into unforgettable, side-splitting stories. Known as “the act with no act,” his lightning-fast wit, improvisation, and crowd interaction make every performance completely unique. His clean comedy, commanding stage presence, and effortless spontaneity leave audiences doubled over with laughter and rising to their feet in applause.

Tazz’s comedy has been featured on Just for Laughs, the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC’s The Debaters, and The Comedy Network. In 2023, he was honoured with the prestigious John Candy Award—founded by John Candy’s children—recognizing his outstanding contributions to comedy and mental-health advocacy. He also once performed an astonishing 81⁄2-hour stand- up marathon to raise funds for one of the many charities he supports.

After three decades of denying the mental illnesses that shaped his life, Tazz embraced his diagnoses—bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and dyslexia—and chose to turn them into strengths. His journey from the psych ward at Calgary Foothills Hospital to stages across North America has become a beacon of hope, resilience, and self-acceptance.
