Syd was soo good- her timing, material! Like sitting down with a group of (old) women friends and making light of our lives ….which really are so similar and could provide her with so much material…but only she can deliver it so well 😀

Chemainus Comedy Club is back for one more night of stand-up comedy before we take a break for the summer — so we’re going out with a bang!

Headlining is the incomparable Syd Bosel, a Canadian comedy gem who’s been featured on Canada’s Got Talent, Just for Laughs Vancouver, and CBC's The Debaters. She just returned from wowing them at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and her tour schedule is packed so we are thrilled to nab her for just one night in Chemainus.

2024 Winner of Yuk Yuk’s BC’s Yuk Off Competition, Syd tells tales of her "adult" children, a thousand years of marriage, and other glories of nature. She's an award-winning, touring comic you may have heard on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud or seen headlining live with Jokers Canada and Hot Flash Comedy.

Our special guest for this special show is Dylan Williams!

Dylan is a staple of the Vancouver Island comedy scene. He has toured all over Western Canada including performances at Just for Laughs Vancouver and the Rifflandia Music Festival. His first album “Evil Dylan Williams” is available now on Spotify and YouTube and his second album “From Dylan with Love” was recorded on Valentines Day, 2025. Dylan finds it hard to get along with people and audiences seem to enjoy hearing about it.

Your host for the evening is the always delightful Katie-Ellen Humphries, fresh off the taping of her brand new comedy special, Tall Tales.
