Comedy Night @ The Greenhill Hotel - Brian Dawydiuk and Friends
Brian Dawydiuk was born and raised in the Crowsnest Pass. Like most of his classmates, he moved away after high school but he still considers Crowsnest home. Brian is excited to return to his hometown with a headline set of comedy based on many stories that happened in the Crowsnest Pass.Brian is a teacher by day, comedian by night and a husband and father always. Brian started doing stand up comedy because he foolishly decided to teach a junior high option class on a subject that he had only done one time up until that point. What began as a fun idea quickly developed into an obsession and Brian has been performing comedy to audiences throughout western Canada. Brian is very active in the Albertan comedy scene and has performed with Canada’s best stand up comedians including Ahren Belisle (America's Got Talent, Kill Tony), Danny Martinello (Kill Tony), Sterling Scott (Canada's Got Talent) and Martin Phillips (Kill Tony). His clever writing and laid back delivery leave audiences laughing and maybe even learning a few things at the same time. Brian touches on stories from his childhood, parenting, teaching and the stresses of being a hyper logical person in a highly illogical world.

Alia Laura started doing comedy in the winter of 2022 when it became clear that science alone wouldn’t be enough to stimulate her wild brain. From open mics to festival shows, she has hustled up the comedic ladder to become one of Canada’s most exciting new standups. She was a finalist in the prestigious Alberta comedy competition “Funniest Person with a Day Job”, and is regularly booked for coveted stage time in the bustling and artsy city of Toronto. Alia performs all across Canada and was a regular force in the 2026 Grindstone Comedy Festival. Forever identifying as the class clown, Alia brings her dynamic presence and quirky observations about dating, current events, and her own character flaws to crowds with an over-abundance of energy that will keep audiences engaged and laughing to the very end of her ridiculous time on her favourite place: the center of attention.
Les Fox is a Canadian stand-up comedian and truck driver based in Lethbridge, Alberta. He is well known in the local scene for hosting open mic nights and describes his comedic style as feeling like "marriage counseling and an AA meeting happening at the same time" which tells you pretty much everything you need to know. Raw, relatable and clearly not here to sugarcoat anything, Les has been honing his craft on the Western Canada circuit with the kind of quiet determination that comes from actually living through the material.
"After getting his start on the stages of Scotland, comedian Steven Darnell returned to his prairie home where he has managed to lose some of Alberta's most prestigious comedy contests. After years of work Steven is finally being recognized as one of Edmonton's three tallest comedians. Steven has performed across Canada and indeed the world. He is tall, but not too tall, and has never been married or even engaged. Which is fine."
