DAKOTA RAY HEBERT (Just For Laughs, New Wave of Standup, Comedy Night with Rick Mercer, CTV's Shelved) is coming out of her mat leave (she is over 37 weeks pregnant) for these select shows to build and work out her latest set which covers topics such as mental health, parenting, and pregnancy. But of course, these aren't regular comedy shows; consider these part of a "Baby Pool".

50% of the ticket sales goes into a pot. Every show Dakota performs without giving birth grows the pot. Starting from doors opening through the end of the performance, if Dakota's water breaks or she goes into labour, the pot is donated to the present audience and split amongst all in attendance. If Dakota goes into labour outside of the showtimes, the pot is donated to the food bank to help families in need.

Yes, she'll be wearing a dress or skirt, and yes, the front row will be provided with rain ponchos. Come on out to not only support local comedy and witness the development of a headlining set, but to also support a scared pregnant comedian and possibly even witness the beginning of a new life. Lol.
