He was a New Face at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, and won the Best Crowd-Work award at the Just For Laughs Northwest Festival and Just For Laughs New Faces. Kevin Hart's LOL Network. He has toured with NPR’s Snap Judgment: Story Telling With a Beat and you can hear his stories on three critically acclaimed podcast episodes. His podcast Night Talk with Dino Archie was featured Live at Just For Laughs Montreal and his podcast Strictly Beloved with Marito Lopez was featured Live at JFL 42 Toronto. Afrin Sarca has performed across Canada, recently at Just For Laughs Toronto as a Guest Artist. "Afrin Sarca stands out for his ability to weave personal stories into laughter" (Jody Wolverine 2024). He won second place at Edmonton's Grindstone Standup Standoff 2023 Competition. Born in Saskatoon with ties to Muskoday First Nation and God's Lake First Nation, he states that being of Cree (Plains and Swampy) and Romanian descent has shaped his eccentric worldview and comedy. "Afrin Sarca's career is a testament to the power of comedy not just to entertain, but to foster cultural dialogue and change, ensuring that Indigenous voices are celebrated in the arts" (Wolverine 2024).
