Dark Night Productions is proud to present Willy Russel's Educating Rita!

Rita (Kate Humphreys) is working class hairdresser in 1970's England, who decides to better herself by pursuing a higher educating at the Open University. There she meets her alcoholic professor Frank (Dick Poulton). Over the course of a year, their relationship develops through conversions about literature, poetry, life, and relationships.

Educating Rita was written by Willy Russell in 1980 and became an Oscar nominated 1983 film starring Julie Walters and Michael Caine.
