Dark Night Productions is proud to present Willy Russell's Educating Rita!

Rita (Kate Humphreys) is a working class hairdresser in 1970's England, who decides to better herself by pursuing a higher education at the Open University. There she meets her alcoholic professor Frank (Dick Poulton). Over the course of a year, their relationship develops through conversations about literature, poetry, life, and relationships.

Educating Rita was written by Willy Russell in 1980 and became an Oscar nominated film in 1983, starring Julie Walters and Michael Caine.
