This December 27th, Former Lovers invite you to the world’s most aggressively mediocre holiday celebration: The Really Boring Not At All Fun Office Christmas Party. Imagine fluorescent lighting, stale coffee vibes, and that one co-worker who keeps reminding you the printer is still jammed—all lovingly recreated at Art Bar in Saskatoon. Expect lukewarm cheer, mild disappointment, and a shocking amount of beige. While admission is free, we will be collecting donations for The Community Arts Mentorship Program, because nothing says “holiday spirit” like giving back while pretending you’re at a mandatory staff gathering. To keep the energy at a solid “background noise in a break room,” WARD will be DJing at 9:00—spinning tracks that pair beautifully with existential dread and office-grade eggnog (which we will not have). Then at 10:00, Former Lovers hit the stage to deliver the musical equivalent of shaking a snow globe filled with passive-aggressive emails and leftover candy canes. Come for the irony.
