Harbour Comedy is bringing the laughs to Ross Bay Pub on Wednesday 28th January at 8PM (doors at 7PM). Get ready for a tidal wave of punchlines, quick wit, and unforgettable stories as some of the funniest comedians around hit the stage!
🌟 Headliner: Syd Bosel 🌟
Syd Bosel is a Canadian stand-up comedian who turns marriage, menopause, adult children, and the “glories of nature” into comedy gold. A CBC Debaters favourite, Just for Laughs alum, and four-yeses performer on Canada’s Got Talent, Syd is also the first woman to win Yuk Yuk’s BC “Yuk Off.” Her warm, relatable storytelling proves that getting older doesn’t mean getting quieter; it just means having better material.
✨ Your Host: Mackenzie Edwards ✨
Mackenzie Edwards is comedian with a style and perspective that transcends boundaries and connects with people from all walks of life, his observations, story-telling, and generally loud but weird accent have captivated audiences anywhere he has travelled.
🎤 Featuring 🎤
Max Bank-Jaffe is a rural exile who has been performing comedy across the vast oceans of BC and Alberta ever since he was old enough to appreciate drink tickets. A real troublemaker, this 90's style scamp will make you question which animals are bad, and which crimes are good in the way only a man who's watched skateboarding (but never participated) his whole life could.
Luke Jonathan is a native Canadian who became a household name in Mexican stand-up comedy, featuring on Comedy Central in the process, and now has returned home to see if his music-infused comedy is just as good — or better — in English.
Bill Nance is the punniest man in British Columbia and a staple of the Victoria improv and comedy scene. Known for his rapid-fire wordplay and clever one-liners, Bill delivers laughs that appeal to audiences young, old, and everyone who groans at a good pun.
