Syd Bosel was the headliner for last year's International Women's Day show at the Mary Winsmear, she got 4 yesses on this year's Canada's Got Talent, has been voted BC's Funniest New Female Comic, and can be heard on Just For Laughs and CBC's Laugh Out Loud. She spills your life out on stage with her tales of "adult" kids, mammograms and being married for 1,000 years. Syd's favourite review is "That older lady was really funny". Elyott Ryan is a Victoria based stand up comedian, writer and podcaster known for his rapid delivery of sharp jokes and confessional brand of comedy. He has always loved making strangers laugh. When Elyott was three years old he would do a spot on Popeye impression making everyone laugh everywhere he went. He uses his keen eye with a sensitivity that consistently finds the funny in even the most frustrating situations. Whether sharing embarrassing admissions of teenage dating or the struggles of raising a young family he invariably makes the personal universal. He is fast becoming an in-demand and favourite performer on the West Coast. Elyott has performed extensively across the western Canada. He has been featured at numerous festivals, Rifflandia, Funnyfest and The Nanaimo Fringe Festival. He has opened for Kenny vs. Spenny at the McPherson Playhouse and has even performed at the Royal BC Museum right under the Mammoth.
