Saskatoon's newest polka supergroup,1-800-POLKA, takes its inspiration from the small-town prairie old-time dance bands of days gone by. Featuring Joseph Desjarlais on fiddle and members of Gil & Wil, Checkout Queens, Sask Steel and the Local Group, the band will showcase accordion, guitar, clarinet, fiddle, drums, banjo, beautiful harmony vocals and more. Having formed to play at historic Danceland in Saskatchewan's polka capital of Manitou Beach, they are thrilled to make their Saskatoon debut on April 18th.
