Darren Millar
Stand up comedian and storyteller from Sidney, Darren tackles everything from raising teenagers in the digital age to the confusing amount of yogurt choices in the grocery store. A staple of the Victoria stand up comedy scene since 2010, Darren has written for, performed on, and produced countless shows across Vancouver Island, including Rifflandia, Your Hood’s a Joke Roast Battle, and most recently performed his solo show 100ml or Less at Edmonton and Montreal International Fringe Festivals.
Mary Wisforden
Sweet, sticky, thick and pretty. Born and raised in the Comox Valley, Mary Wisforden is a woman with talents and jobs spanning multitudes. A tree planter turned farmer turned stand-up comedian, Mary’s vibe is feral Housewife crossed with deadly Auntie. Bringing a new take on race, relationships, and navigating your thirties in the pre-apocalyptic world. Catch Mary on featured on season 1 of CTV's hit reality show Traitors Canada now on Crave or Streaming on ctv.ca
Shirley Whalen
Shirley’s comedy is sharp, confessional, and just self-deprecating enough to make you worry about her. A semi-finalist in SiriusXM’s Top Comic competition, she’s performed at Zoofest and CBC’s Winnipeg Comedy Festival. After taking a break to have a baby and open a vintage store, she’s more sleep-deprived than ever with new material about newfound MILFhood, failed romance and unmedicated survival.
Brett McCrindle
Brett's curious cadence and offbeat outlooks on the cosmos, entomology and masculinity draws audiences in for an epic mind ride on a thought coaster! [Please keep all arms and grey matter in the vehicle at all times.] A new addition to the Vancouver Island comedy scene; Brett moved to Nanaimo in 2022 from Toronto, he is quickly making friends and making his mark. He has gratefully graced comedy club stages across Canada, featured at the 2016 Oddblock Festival, and can be heard on Sirius XM off stage!
Dustin Estill
Based out of Nanaimo, Dustin has been spending all his free time for the last two years getting on stages and making people laugh, often at the same time. He recently opened for “Kenny Vs Spenny” and won a comedy competition in Nanaimo in 2025.
