Shawn Hogan Live at Xeroz Arcade/Bar
Come out to Xeroz Arcade/Bar on July 10 for a joy-filled night of laughs, drinks, and games. Featuring PEI's Shawn Hogan, Cape Breton's Clifton Cremo, and other local favorites, this show is guaranteed to be "1 Up" on anything else happening in town!
Originating from Mill River, Prince Edward Island, Shawn Hogan has produced and starred in dozens of sold out comedy shows across his home province. Over the last 10 years he has performed and lived in Toronto, where he created, produced, and hosted the Hangover Cure Comedy Show, one of Toronto’s most successful & unique comedy shows which recently made its debut at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Shawn has made consecutive national television appearances as part of the Halifax Comedy Festival, has been a featured comedian on CBC Radio's "Laugh Out Loud", and most recently was hand picked to open for Gerry Dee in front of a sold out crowd at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
Since beginning his career in stand-up comedy, Clifton Cremo has been entertaining Canadian audiences with his deft brand of storytelling and wry absurdism. Clifton's perspective on his Mi'kmaw upbringing and his unique outlook on First Nations issues brought him national attention by showing that no matter the divisiveness of an issue, humor can be a common ground.
Clifton has appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival for CBC television in 2022 and 2023 in addition to being a part of their Best of the Fest tour in 2021. Clifton has also appeared on CBC radio's Laugh Out Loud and CBC’s The Debaters. He can be heard on Just For Laughs Originals as part of a compilation album “Divorced Robot Arms” and has appeared at the Just For Laughs festival in Toronto and Vancouver. Clifton has also performed alongside top comedians including opening for Kenny vs. Spenny, Joe Pera, and Jon Dore.
Whether he's onstage at a comedy club, a local bar, or even a funeral (seriously), Clifton always manages to bring the laughs.
