Start Jane’s Walk weekend with stories that bring Saskatoon to life. Join us Thursday, April 30 at Art Bar for a free, 19+ Story Slam all about the neighbourhoods, streets, and places that have shaped us. The show will start at 6PM sharp. Please arrive early to be seated in the Art Bar Theatre.
Expect a mix of funny, heartfelt, and spooky true stories from local voices. We’ll wrap the night by awarding a “Story of the Night” prize to a standout storyteller. (Audience vote, so bring friends!)
Jane’s Walk leaders are also invited to take the mic and share the inspiration behind their upcoming walks—making this a story-filled kickoff to a weekend of exploring the city in a whole new way.
Saskatoon Story Jam is a regular storytelling open mic held the first and third Thursday of each month at Art Bar (front of house).
Got a story rooted in your neighbourhood? Maybe it’s a street corner you’ll never forget, a childhood home, a daily bus route, an organization you're proud of, or a hidden gem only locals know—if it’s shaped your connection to your community, we want to hear it!
To sign up, email Melissa at Saskatoon Story Jam at [email protected].
