Tin Whistle Presents Syd Bosel and Friends

Syd Bosel is a unique and powerful voice among comedians. An artful storyteller and hilarious comedian in one, she brings a wealth of experience and accolades to the stage, among them winning BC's Funniest New Female Comic, winning BC's YukYuk competition, and placing 2nd in the Funniest Person with a Dayjob competition. She regularly headlines with Jokers Canada and Hot Flash Comedy, and recently released a standup album called "Thanks for Swinging By". Her comedy is personal and refreshing, with stories about her children, being a cancer survivor, and the partner of someone living with dementia, Syd doesn't hold back shining a light on difficult topics, and brings humour to every life event she experiences. Joined by three strong opening acts, local favourites Joey Commisso, Kate Belton, and Alison Lujan, this show will have comedic styles and perspectives that will have everyone laughing until the end of the night! Located in the historic Cannery building, there will be an outrageously delicious food truck outside with smash burgers, chicken bites and handcut wedge fries, courtesy of Ben's Appetite.
