Vancouver Island Comedy Competition: Preliminary Round August 26th at 8pm at Phoenix Bar

Harbour Comedy is excited to launch our inaugural stand-up comedy competition, open to comedians of all experience levels. All three shows will take place at Phoenix Bar & Grill. Competition Schedule

Wednesday, August 26 – Preliminary Round 1

Wednesday, September 23 – Preliminary Round 2

Wednesday, October 28 – Grand Final

Each preliminary round will feature 12 comedians, with each performer doing a 5-minute set. At the end of each preliminary round, our judges will select their top three performers to advance to the Grand Final. The audience will also vote to send one additional comedian through, for a total of eight finalists.

The Grand Final will feature 10-minute sets from each finalist. Final placements will be determined by a combination of judges' scores and audience voting.

Prizes 1st Place: $350 cash, two paid spots on future Harbour Comedy shows, and a night of guest spots (3 shows) at Underground Comedy in Vancouver 2nd Place: $100 cash 3rd Place: $50 cash
