Cassia Hardy is a loudish songwriter from amiskwacîy-waskahikan, Treaty 6. As a member of the bands Wares and ASKO, she has performed on stages from Dawson City to Charlottetown. Recently, she has also appeared at Sappyfest, Sled Island, and Pop Montréal.

In Relation (Mint Records, 2025), draws from 90s queercore cassettes, 70s AM hits, and modern electronic textures. On stage, the songs become saturated and intense, fuzzed-out guitar squalls undergirded by driving drum machine rhythms. Upon release, In Relation spent 7 weeks at #1 on Edmonton’s campus community radio station, and peaked at #8 on campus community radio nationwide.

The Naysayers (Drea Naysayer) is a non-binary singer and songwriter on the Coax Records label. Their music blends elements of acoustic folk, alt-rock, and punk. The Naysayers are known for their visceral lyrics, shape shifting vocals, relentlessly catchy melodies and uncompromising and sincere energy. Drea Naysayer’s voice commands attention and they are recognized as an experienced performer with meteoric power, engaging, and unforgettable live shows.
The Naysayers have lived, performed and recorded extensively in the Yukon until 2023 before relocating to the prairies making their debut in Saskatoon at the Breakout West Music Conference in September 2024. The Naysayers are releasing new music in the winter of 2026. They have released 10 independent albums, won CBC Searchlight Yukon in 2014, and have toured nationally and internationally for 20 years. The Naysayers music feels like a punch in the gut and a warm embrace at the same time. In a sea of similarity, The Naysayers cut through.
