HifromTruro Presents "A Comedy Show"

HifromTruro Presents "A Comedy Show"

We are proud to present the first comedy show at The Commune's new location. The address will be revealed before the show!

The first show will have headliner Kyle Barnet!

Kyle Barnet is a creative and dynamic joke writer and performer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Since 2014, he has performed at the Hubcap Comedy Festival, The Edmonton Comedy Festival and headlines shows across the Maritimes. He has recorded two albums; “The Baby Bird EP” in 2021 and “Joke into the Night” in 2024. Upon the release of his second album, The Parton and Pearl wrote: “This is Kyle’s second album in three years, an impressive feat and a sign of his commitment to the art of stand up comedy.”

Hosting the whole thing is Evan Mumford (Halifax Comedy Fest, Rifflandia, Evan Mumford Burns Everything).

A stellar lineup of comics will be performing including:

Luba Magnus

Jimmy Grant

Allison Walsh

Matt Murphy

On top of all this we will be treated to a punk and hardcore DJ set by Tim & Luke both before and after the show. There may also be records for sale?
