Performance and XR Conference 2026 - Vancouver Hub

This November we will have a Kingston port for The Performance and XR (PXR) Conference which will bring together artists, technologists, game creators, and academics to discuss digital art creation and innovation. 👾

The first and only conference of its kind in Canada, PXR has grown into a significant platform for showcasing the latest advancements in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality performance. Gathering over four hundred participants from diverse backgrounds across Canada and the globe, including artists, programmers, and industry professionals. ⚔️

PXR2024 will continue to expand upon the success of previous PXR conferences, with a hybrid format combining virtual reality and in-person hubs in Vancouver, Toronto, and Kingston. Modern Fuel (370 King St W #305) will be the in-person hub for Kingston with special programming on Nov 8 as well as being a spot where conference goers without headsets can go to borrow VR headsets to witness the conference at the comfort of their homes. 🧙
