Carolyn Davis

While Carolyn's been active in the comedy world since the late 80's, it was always a part-time gig. But, after retiring from her day job in 2023 she's pursed comedy with much more aplomb. Over the years she's performed at improv and comedy festivals in Vancouver, Halifax, Ottawa, Chicago, Riverport and Leuven to name a few. She ran her own comedy rooms at District 5 Bar and Grill, Alderney Bar and Cafe and at Dartmouth Player's theatre. She's been a regular at Yuk Yuks, and practically a fixture at Pride shows. Her comedy often involves life as a middle aged trans woman, cats, cannabis, working for corporations, our health care system, and as of recently her battles with Stage 4 cancer - but she still has the spunk to bring the energy and grace to the stage on a regular basis.
