Harmeet Singh Kohli

Harmeet Singh Kohli, aka Paaji the Comedian, is a Vancouver-based multilingual stand-up comedian performing in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Born in India and now based in Canada, Harmeet blends sharp cultural observations, storytelling, accents and unapologetic punchlines to find the comedy in life between cultures. Harmeet has performed across Canada, the U.S. and India, with appearances at Just for Laughs Vancouver, Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club and Red FM Vancouver. His comedy draws from his experiences as an immigrant, dad and former rideshare driver, tackling everything from family and relationships to cultural stereotypes, racism, awkward auntie encounters and the absurdities of Canadian life. Harmeet is the creator of two full-length solo shows: White Samosa, his English-language comedy show exploring culture, identity and the collision of Indian and Canadian life; and Family Remote, his multilingual Hindi, Punjabi and English show built around the wonderfully chaotic world of desi family life. Family Remote has toured India and Canada, showcasing Harmeet’s ability to connect with audiences across cultures — and languages.
