Hello, I’m Jackie Joy! A Brazilian comedian and producer based in Vancouver, turning dating disasters, immigrant chaos, and broken-English moments into stand-up trauma… I mean, comedy. I perform in English and Portuguese, and my shows always end up becoming group therapy with punchlines. I produce my own independent shows like Only Fails, How I Met My Trauma, Love Is a Joke, and other themed nights that bring together the kind of audience who’s been through enough to deserve a laugh. I’ve performed at NYC Comedy Club, Yuk Yuks, opened for touring Brazilian comedians in theaters across Canada. If you’ve ever been ghosted, moved countries, cried in the bathroom at work, or asked “is this a date?”, you’ll probably relate to my comedy.
