Terms of Service

Questions about these terms? Email us at [email protected]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jump Comedy (operated by My Comedy Tickets), including our websites, storefronts, and ticketing services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

Eligibility

Our Services are for users 18 and older. By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are a parent or guardian consenting to your minor dependent's use. We do not knowingly provide Services to, or collect information from, anyone under 18.

Your Account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

You may access, update, or delete your account at any time via your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent or unlawful activity.

Tickets and Purchases

When you purchase a ticket through Jump Comedy, you are purchasing directly from the event host or promoter, not from Jump Comedy. Jump Comedy provides the platform that facilitates the sale; the event, admission terms, and any conditions of entry are set by the host.

Prices, availability, and applicable fees are shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely through our payment providers (such as Stripe). By completing a purchase you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed. Any refund decisions are made solely at the discretion of the promoter or host of the event—not Jump Comedy.

Because each purchase is made directly from the event host or promoter, each host sets their own refund policy, and Jump Comedy does not have the authority to issue refunds on their behalf.

To request a refund:

Even if a refund is approved by the host, processing times and any applicable fees are determined by the event host's policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Intellectual Property

The Services, including their content, design, and trademarks, are owned by Jump Comedy (My Comedy Tickets) or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without our prior written permission.

Connected Accounts and Integrations

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as payment processors, email-marketing providers, and social login). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for the content or practices of any third party.

If you choose to connect a third-party account (for example, Squarespace or Mailchimp) to the Services, you authorize us to access and use that account on your behalf solely to provide the features you have requested — such as syncing your mailing-list subscribers and opted-in contacts to your audience on that platform. You represent that you have the authority to connect the account and to grant this access.

We access only the data needed to provide these features, we do not sell it, and we use it solely to operate the integration you enabled. We store any access credentials securely and use them only for the authorized integration. You may disconnect a connected account at any time through your account settings or by revoking access from the third-party platform, which stops any further data syncing. For questions about a connected account or to request deletion of synced data, email [email protected].

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Jump Comedy is not responsible for the conduct of any event host, promoter, or attendee, or for the quality, safety, or content of any event.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jump Comedy (My Comedy Tickets) and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the ticket or order giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of- law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for the resolution of any disputes.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
