Proceeds from this magical evening of community care and support will be used towards Sasha's day-to-day living expenses while he is in recovery and off work including housing, utility bills, medication, food, transportation, rehabilitation, personal care items, occupational therapy, speech therapy, therapy therapy etc.

Sasha's surgery date is set for March 20 at VGH.

Best case scenario for this surgery is 4-6 weeks of recovery and a victory-lap celebration summer with this amazing community.

Big change in circumstances scenario for this surgery include the potential that Sasha may lose or have diminished speech, swallowing, chewing. Should this happen, he will need to make some big life adjustments (learning ASL, a career change). However, we know he can do hard things and we'll be there every step of the way.
